Recover Now is proud to announce the upcoming opening of Recover Now Central Alabama, a new addiction treatment facility in McCalla, Alabama, opening Spring 2026.
This new facility will expand access to substance use disorder treatment in Central Alabama, providing individuals and families near Birmingham, McCalla, Hoover, and surrounding communities with a supportive place to begin recovery.

About Recover Now's Central Alabama Campus
Recover Now Central Alabama is being developed to provide structured addiction treatment in McCalla, Alabama, offering Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and sober living support for individuals continuing their recovery journey.
These levels of care are designed to support individuals who need ongoing clinical guidance while building stability in early recovery. Through a combination of therapy, structured programming, and supportive housing, clients will have access to the tools and resources needed to strengthen their recovery and transition back into everyday life.

Leading the program is Executive Director Michael Grammas, who oversees the facility’s operations and works to ensure that every aspect of the program reflects Recover Now’s commitment to high-quality care and a supportive treatment environment.
Clinical Director Gina Thompson guides the clinical programming, helping ensure that clients receive thoughtful, evidence-based care that supports both immediate recovery needs and long-term wellness.
Supporting outreach and community partnerships is Business Development Representative, Lonnie Layton, who works closely with local healthcare providers, organizations, and community members to help connect individuals with the resources and treatment they need.

Before officially opening in Spring 2026, Recover Now Central Alabama will host a Community Preview Event on March 19 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at our new Central Alabama Campus.
This event is an opportunity for members of the community, healthcare professionals, and local partners to visit the facility, meet our team, and learn more about the programs that will soon be available in Central Alabama. Guests will have the chance to tour the space, ask questions, and get a closer look at how Recover Now is expanding access to addiction treatment in the region.
